Reprint Requests
South End Press is happy to grant permission to reprint or use materials from our books for commercial, academic, non-profit, and independent use. Permission is granted for one-time use of the material only. Permission is not granted for any future editions or for electronic publications, unless explicitly negotiated. South End Press may not grant permission for titles out-of-print as rights revert to the author(s).
In order to receive permission for a South End Press title, please send a request using our online form; by fax, 617-547-1333; or by mail to:
Please include the following information with your request:
- The title in question
- Page numbers of text you intend to use
- Intentions for the text
- Whether your organization is non-profit or for-profit
- Number of copies to be made of text
- Your contact name
- Your organization or company
- Your address
- Any other information that would be important to consider
Note: if you are proposing to excerpt the text, you must fax or mail us a copy of the text showing the selections you are using and/or deleting.
